CHECKLIST “HOW TO BOOK A SURGERY IN YEREVAN”
1. UNDERGO A COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY SCAN
Computed tomography (CT) of the nose and paranasal sinuses is one of the most accurate and fastest methods for diagnosing the condition of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses (air-filled cavities in the cranial bones). CT evaluates all anatomical features of the nasal cavity and sinuses, and diagnoses pathological processes (inflammation, cysts, polyps, etc.).
The overall CT image is created from a series of X-rays. The scanner takes “X-ray photos” layer by layer. A slice thickness of 0.5–1 mm is the most informative. Therefore, it is important to have the CT scan done on a full clinical scanner, not on a dental tomograph.
The CT results and the radiologist’s report must be sent to me. A CT result without a report will not be considered!

2. SEND PHOTOS FOR MODELING
It is within my power to predict the outcome of the surgery with 90-95% accuracy. This is possible thanks to computer modeling. All you need to do is send your photos. Looking at the picture of “your future self”, it will be easier for you to make the right decision.

If you do not like the modeling…
Of course, I always take into account your wishes for your future nose! However, nose modeling is not “drawing” it. It is a virtual surgery that I perform based on your individual characteristics, the anatomy of your nose and face. The goal is to create the most harmonious profile and a nose that will bring aesthetics to the face and healthy nasal breathing to the body.
Nose modeling is absolutely free. It is conducted only once and cannot be corrected. If you remain dissatisfied with the modeling result, the surgery will not take place. I am a doctor — I stand for the patient’s health!
3. CHOOSE A DATE AND MAKE A PREPAYMENT
Choosing a surgery date in Yerevan will be possible only after you pass all the stages:
Prepayment
To book a specific day in the surgical schedule, you must make a fixed prepayment.
Rescheduling the surgery date is allowed only once and no less than two weeks before the surgery. If you reschedule the surgery date more than once (or less than 2 weeks in advance), the prepayment turns into a fine and remains at the clinic, and a new payment will be required for a re-booking.
4. COST, TYPES OF SURGERY, AND PAYMENT
Types of surgery:
- Primary: If the nose surgery is being performed for the first time.
- Secondary: If you have had any nose or nasal septum surgery in the past (even if there were several operations). The cost of secondary surgeries is higher and depends on the complexity and scope of the operation.
The exact cost of the surgery is determined only after reviewing the CT result files and photos.
Final Payment
Payment is made only in cash and only in Armenian Drams (AMD) in two stages:
- On the day of medical tests — 59,000 Drams (since June 2024, it is NOT included in the surgery cost);
- On the day of surgery — the balance minus the prepayment.
Medications that must be taken after discharge, at home, are not included in the surgery cost! The full list of services and prices is available in Armenian.
What is included in the surgery cost?
- Preoperative examination by an experienced anesthesiologist.
- Surgery under high-quality general anesthesia — without nausea, pain, or a difficult recovery from anesthesia.
- 24 hours in the hospital: a comfortable room, free Wi-Fi and TV, dietary catering.
- Dressing change, examination, and consultation 7 days after the surgery.
- My personal oversight for 12 months — without the involvement of assistants and without transferring monitoring to other doctors. I track every stage of your recovery myself.
- Monthly analysis of your photo reports and corresponding recommendations.
- Two video consultations at scheduled times (after 6 and 12 months) — from anywhere in the world, wherever you are.

5. UNDERGO A PREOPERATIVE EXAMINATION
The preoperative examination in Yerevan is conducted the day before the surgery at 9:30 AM on the 6th floor of the clinic.
If you have doubts about your tests, you can take 4 main tests at your place of residence and send them to me for checking before booking the surgery:
If you have vision problems, you must undergo an ophthalmologist consultation in advance and get a written report stating that you have no contraindications for rhinoplasty.
If there are concomitant diseases, a consultation with a specialized professional will be required.

Can rhinoplasty be done if I have dental braces?
Yes, it can. Braces do not interfere with the surgery.
Can rhinoplasty be done during menstruation?
Yes, it can. Menstruation is not a contraindication to the surgery.
When is the best time to have rhinoplasty?
Rhinoplasty can be done at any time of the year, provided there is no seasonal allergy.
When can I wear glasses after rhinoplasty?
At least 6 months after the surgery.

What is the minimum length of stay in Armenia for out-of-town patients?
8 days. You take tests the day before the surgery at 9:30 AM, then the surgery, and a week later at 10:00 AM only one dressing change is done, after which you can fly back.
