Complete aesthetic transformation and facial beautification (1 year)

A young patient scheduled an appointment with me for classic facial beautification and nose harmonization. Her main source of insecurity was the shape of her nose, which disrupted the overall harmony: a large, heavy profile visually aged the young woman and made her facial expression look more stern and guarded. In addition, the patient noted periodic breathing difficulties, which often accompany pronounced external deformities.

Baseline anatomy (“Before” photos)

When analyzing the face from a three-quarters view, I highlighted key anatomical features that required combined correction:

• Nasal dorsum: A high, massive osteocartilaginous hump that disrupted the smoothness of lines and made the nose look visually too long.
• Nasal tip: Significantly drooping, lacking definition and proper projection. An acute nasolabial angle visually dragged the middle third of the face downwards.
• Skin and cartilage quality: The medium skin density required the creation of a very well-defined, stable cartilaginous framework so that over time the nasal tip would not lose its designated shape and droop again.

Surgical objectives and course of the operation

My main goal was to restore the true softness and femininity to the patient’s face by creating a neat, elegant nose that would look absolutely natural.

During the surgery, I performed a careful reduction of the osteocartilaginous hump, completely straightening the bridge line and giving it a refined contour. The primary and most delicate work concerned the tip of the nose: I performed an upward tip rotation, carefully narrowed it, and fixed it in a new, aesthetically advantageous position. Simultaneously, I corrected the internal structures of the septum to fully restore free nasal breathing.

Stable result after 1 year (“After” photos)

In the photos on the right, we can see the result exactly 1 year after the surgery. This is a crucial milestone when post-operative swelling has completely subsided, the tissues have recovered, and the cartilaginous framework has taken its final position.

• Aesthetic outcome: The nose became elegant, chiseled, and proportional. The straight bridge transitions into a neat, slightly upturned tip. The opened nasolabial angle made the profile look light.
• Facial harmonization: Notice how the patient’s entire face has been transformed. The gaze became more open and expressive, a prominent rejuvenation effect appeared, and the natural beauty of the lips and cheekbones was highlighted.

The result turned out to be stable, natural, and harmonious—the nose does not look “operated on”; it blends perfectly with her individual facial features. The patient breathes beautifully and feels completely confident, which for me is the main criterion for a successfully completed job.
