A charming young lady turned to me for help, wishing to make her profile softer and more harmonious. Upon close examination, I immediately noticed a pronounced osteocartilaginous hump and a slightly drooping nasal tip. This anatomical feature visually weighed down the middle third of the face, adding unnecessary sharpness to the profile and hiding the natural femininity of her features. In addition, the patient experienced certain difficulties with nasal breathing, which indicated the presence of a deviated nasal septum and the need for functional correction.
Course of the operation and surgical objectives
My main task was to perform comprehensive work: not just to create a beautiful aesthetic contour, but also to restore full, free breathing. The operation required a very delicate, precise approach.
I had to carefully lower the dorsum projection, removing the hump, and reshape the cartilages of the nasal tip to make it lighter, more elegant, and structured.
Result after 7 months
In the photographs, you can evaluate the result 7 months after rhinoseptoplasty. The main swelling has already subsided, and the tissues have taken on their new shape.
- I formed a beautiful, straight dorsum with a smooth, natural transition.
- The nasal tip was delicately lifted and narrowed, thanks to which the face was instantly transformed: the heaviness disappeared, the look became more open, and the profile became refined and aristocratic.
We achieved a perfect balance — the new nose does not look “operated on”; it fits absolutely harmoniously into the proportions of the patient’s face. And just as importantly, we fully restored physiological breathing. My patient is sincerely pleased with the result, and seeing her self-confidence is the best reward for me as a surgeon.
