A charming young woman reached out to me for aesthetic correction, wanting to achieve harmony in her facial features and, equally importantly, free and easy breathing.
Initial anatomical features
During a detailed preoperative examination, I highlighted several key points requiring my surgical intervention. Firstly, the nasal dorsum had a small hump, which made the profile look heavier. Secondly, the nasal tip was wide, massive, and lacked elegant definition. The situation was complicated by the tissue quality: the patient had rather thick, dense skin. In addition, the diagnosed deviated nasal septum indicated that the young woman experienced noticeable difficulties with nasal breathing, making functional correction mandatory.
Course of the operation
I performed an open hybrid rhinoseptoplasty. Working with thick skin is always a special professional challenge. To shape a refined, beautiful nasal tip under a dense skin flap, I needed a truly jewelry-like approach to modeling the cartilaginous framework. I carefully worked on the dorsum, lowering its projection, and created a reliable, structural support for the new tip. Simultaneously, I straightened the septum to fully restore breathing function.
Result
The “After” result speaks for itself. I managed to create an absolutely natural, straight, and elegant profile. The wide tip became neat, slightly elevated, and harmoniously narrowed, despite the initial skin density. The young woman’s face visually became softer, fresher, and more refined. But most importantly, I managed not only to achieve the aesthetic ideal my patient dreamed of, but also to return to her the joy of free, full breathing.
