Introduction and main complaints
The clinic’s patient was a young woman whose primary reason for consultation was a pronounced nasal asymmetry. Such deformities not only disrupt the aesthetic harmony of the face but also, as a rule, are accompanied by serious problems with nasal breathing, significantly reducing the quality of life.
Initial anatomical picture
Upon detailed examination, I diagnosed a severe nasal septum deviation. In the initial frames, especially from the bottom view, a complex picture is clearly visible: the central nasal axis is shifted, a pronounced asymmetry of the nostrils is observed, and the nasal tip itself looks wide, heavy, and lacking structure. In addition, I noticed the patient’s rather thick, porous skin. In rhinoplasty, this is always a complicating factor requiring the creation of a powerful and perfectly balanced cartilaginous framework so that the new graceful tip does not get “lost” under the thickness of the tissues.
Course of the operation and surgical nuances
My task was to perform a comprehensive functional and aesthetic rhinoseptoplasty. A large-scale and meticulous work lay ahead: it was necessary to literally reassemble the architecture of the nose, straighten the septum to restore free breathing, and give the external nose graceful, correct proportions. I placed special emphasis on narrowing and projecting the tip, using special techniques for working with cartilages to create a beautiful, refined definition despite the skin thickness.
Outcome: Harmony and functionality
The result, which can be evaluated on the operating table immediately after the intervention, fully corresponds to the planned goals. I managed to eliminate the asymmetry: now the nasal axis is perfectly straight, and the nostrils have acquired a correct, symmetrical shape. I formed a neat, elegant, and well-defined nasal tip. The nasal bridge became straight and refined. But most importantly, I restored full nasal breathing. The patient’s facial features began to look more harmonious and light, and I am sincerely glad that I was able to give her not only beauty but also health.
