A patient consulted me with a comprehensive request: she was deeply dissatisfied with a heavy profile featuring a large hump, facial asymmetry in full-face view, as well as constant problems with nasal breathing.
Initial Anatomical Features
During the primary analysis of the initial data, I identified pronounced anatomical features. In profile, a massive osteocartilaginous hump was evident, and the nasal tip was significantly drooped, forming a hooked silhouette and an excessively acute nasolabial angle. In full face and, especially noticeably, in the basal view (from below), an S-shaped deviation of the nasal axis was clearly visible. The internal septum was significantly deviated, which deformed the shape of the nostrils and almost completely blocked normal airflow.
Surgical Course and Objectives
My objective was to perform a complete structural rhinoseptoplasty — to restore desired symmetry to the face, make the nose neat and elegant, and fully restore breathing function. During the surgery, I performed a complex septoplasty, straightening the internal cartilaginous framework. Then I carefully removed the hump and performed a precise osteotomy to narrow the bony base of the nose. Special attention was required for the tip: I reduced its excess volume, delicately elevated (rotated) it, and fixed it in the correct position, restoring ideal symmetry of the nostrils and columella.
Result After 5 Months
In the photos, we see the result 5 months after surgery. The tissues are still continuing to recover, but an immense difference is already visible. The nasal bridge has become completely straight, while the neat, refined tip opened up the face, making the features softer, gentler, and more feminine. In full face and from the basal view, flawless symmetry was restored.
The patient notes that her quality of life has changed radically: long-standing insecurities are gone, her face has achieved true harmony, and her nose now breathes completely freely.
