A charming patient came to me seeking to soften her facial features and regain her long-awaited self-confidence. The main reason for her visit was a large nose, which, in her feeling, drew all the attention to itself and visually weighed down her profile, disrupting the overall harmony.
Initial anatomical presentation (Before surgery)
During the detailed examination stage, I noticed a number of anatomical features. The “Before” photograph clearly shows:
- A massive osteocartilaginous hump and excessive nasal length.
- A drooping tip: this type of profile architecture often gives the face a somewhat severe, tired, or older appearance.
- Functional impairments: this shape is often associated with internal deviations, so it was critically important for me not only to aesthetically transform the nose but also to ensure free, full nasal breathing for the patient.
Surgical objectives and course of the operation
My main objective during the surgery was to perform precision, jewelry-like work: to create elegant contours without depriving the face of its natural individuality.
I delicately removed the hump, sculpted a straight and refined dorsal line, and performed meticulous work on the cartilaginous structures. This allowed me to shorten the nose and lift the tip, giving it the correct, subtle rotation.
Result after 4 years (After)
The “After” photograph showcases our stable result after a full four years. The tissues have long taken their final shape.
- We can see a perfectly straight bridge and a neat, natural nasal tip.
- The facial contours were instantly transformed: the profile became soft, feminine, and harmonious, and the patient herself looks significantly fresher and younger.
I am genuinely glad that I was able to give her this result — a perfect balance of aesthetics and health that she enjoys every day.
