Consultation and Primary Complaints
A charming young woman came for an examination with a request to harmonize her facial features. Her primary visual complaint was a noticeable asymmetry, which not only disrupted the aesthetic balance but also, as is often the case with such anatomy, was accompanied by obstructed nasal breathing.
Initial Presentation (“Before”)
Upon detailed analysis, I noted a pronounced deviation of the nasal axis and the nasal septum, which created asymmetry of the nostrils. The nasal tip was slightly wide and drooping, visually weighing down the face. The nasal dorsum had irregularities. Furthermore, the patient’s thick skin demanded a particularly meticulous, precision approach, as it is more challenging to sculpt a refined, well-defined contour beneath thick tissues.
Surgical Details
I performed a hybrid rhinoseptoplasty. My primary objective was to restore function—aligning the septum for free breathing. During the aesthetic correction phase, I focused on establishing a straight central axis, reinforcing the framework, and delicately rotating the nasal tip to give it a more upturned, youthful contour.
Result (“After”)
We managed to achieve a beautiful, natural result. I completely eliminated the asymmetry: the nasal dorsum became perfectly straight and smooth, and the tip turned out neat and aesthetically pleasing.
The function of nasal breathing has been fully restored. The patient is happy and feels confident. As our professional motto for this case goes: the eyes remain her mother’s, but the perfect nose is from me.
