Profile harmonization and axis asymmetry correction (1 month)

A charming young lady came to me wishing to harmonize her facial features and make her profile more elegant. During the initial examination, I immediately noticed not only the aesthetic nuances but also a slight asymmetry of the nasal axis, which, as we discovered during our conversation, was accompanied by difficulty in nasal breathing. Therefore, my task was to perform not just an aesthetic correction, but a complete functional procedure — rhinoseptoplasty.

Initial anatomical features

Analyzing the initial “before” anatomical data, I noted a prominent hump on the nasal bridge, as well as a slightly droopy, bulbous tip. This shape visually elongated the central third of the face, giving it a somewhat tired look.

In addition, I noticed that the patient had rather thick, porous skin. In plastic surgery, this is always a certain challenge: to form a sculpted, refined tip under a thick skin flap, I needed to perform truly precise work on the cartilaginous structures, creating the most reliable support for them.

Course of the operation and surgical tasks

During the surgery, my main goal was to achieve a natural result so that the nose would fit perfectly into the facial proportions without leaving any traces of surgical intervention.

I carefully lowered the bridge, removing the hump, and straightened the nasal septum — this allowed us to fully restore free breathing. Then, I delicately modeled the tip of the nose: narrowed it and slightly lifted it, setting the correct vector and smooth light lines.

Result after 1 month

In the “after” photos, taken just 1 month after the surgery (while a slight residual swelling still persists), our wonderful result is already visible. The bridge has become straight and noble, and the tip has acquired elegant, feminine contours.

You can notice how much the face has transformed: it began to look much fresher, younger, and softer, and the main visual accent shifted to my patient’s expressive eyes. Aesthetic harmony has been achieved, breathing is free, and seeing my patient’s sincere joy from her new reflection in the mirror is the best reward for me.
