Softening of Facial Features and Narrowing of the Nasal Tip (1 Month)

A charming young woman approached me with a desire to make her facial features softer and more harmonious.

Initial Anatomical Features

Upon detailed examination, I noticed a pronounced hump on the nasal dorsum and a slightly droopy, wide tip. This anatomical configuration visually weighed down the middle third of the face, drew too much attention, and gave the face a slightly tired appearance.

In addition, after assessing the nasal axis, I suspected a deviated septum — during our conversation, the patient confirmed that she periodically experiences difficulties with nasal breathing.

Surgical Procedure and Objectives

I was faced with a classic, yet highly delicate task: to perform a comprehensive rhinoseptoplasty, combining aesthetic transformation with the restoration of respiratory function.

• During the operation, my first priority was to straighten the nasal septum to restore free breathing to my patient.
• Working on the aesthetic aspect, I meticulously lowered the nasal bridge, eliminating the hump, and shaped a smooth, straight profile line.
• The nasal tip required special surgical attention: considering the moderate thickness of the patient’s skin, I needed to create a durable and elegant cartilaginous framework. I carefully narrowed and elevated the tip, defining its proper rotation and projection to rid the face of its previous “heavy” look.

Result at 1 Month

The photographs show the result just 1 month after the procedure. Although natural residual swelling (especially in the tip area) is typical for this timeframe, we can already appreciate the dramatic transformation.

My patient’s face looks significantly fresher, younger, and more refined. The elimination of disproportions allowed her natural beauty to unfold — now the focus has shifted to her large and expressive eyes. And what is most important for me as a doctor, the patient is happy not only with her new reflection in the mirror but also with the ability to breathe freely.
