CHECKLIST: “HOW TO BOOK SURGERY IN SOCHI”
1. UNDERGO A COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY (CT) SCAN
Computed tomography (CT) of the nose and paranasal sinuses is one of the most accurate and fastest methods for diagnosing the condition of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses (air-filled spaces in the skull bones). A CT scan evaluates all anatomical features of the nasal cavity and sinuses, diagnosing pathological processes (inflammation, cysts, polyps, etc.).
The overall CT picture is created from a series of X-rays. The device takes layer-by-layer “X-ray photos”. A slice thickness of 0.5—1 mm is the most informative. Therefore, it is important to perform the CT scan on a full-fledged clinical tomograph, not a dental one.
The CT scan results and the radiologist’s report must be sent to me. The files with your CT results are provided on a CD. These files need to be uploaded via the “virtual consultant”.

2. SEND PHOTOS FOR SIMULATION
It is in my power to predict the outcome of the surgery with 90-95% accuracy. This is possible thanks to computer modeling. All that is required from you is to send your photos. Looking at a picture of “your future self”, it will be easier for you to make the right decision.

If you don’t like the modeling…
Of course, I always take your wishes for your future nose into account! However, modeling a nose is not “drawing” it. It is a virtual operation that I perform based on your individual characteristics, nose, and facial anatomy. The goal is to create the most harmonious profile and a nose that will bring aesthetics to the face and healthy nasal breathing to the body.
Nose modeling is absolutely free. It is performed only once and is not subject to correction. If you are not satisfied with the modeling result, the surgery will not take place. I am a doctor — I stand for the patient’s health!
3. CHOOSE A DATE AND MAKE A DEPOSIT

Deposit
To book a specific day on the surgical schedule, a fixed deposit of 50,000 rubles is required. If everything goes “according to plan”, you pay 50,000 rubles less for the surgery.
Postponing the surgery date is allowed only once and no later than two weeks prior. If you postpone the surgery date more than once (or less than 2 weeks before the surgery), the deposit turns into a penalty and remains with the clinic, and you will need to pay again to rebook.
4. TYPES OF SURGERY AND COST

5. UNDERGO A PREOPERATIVE EXAMINATION
Before the surgery, it is necessary to pass the following tests:

The test results (paper originals with wet seals) along with the general practitioner’s report stating that you have no contraindications for surgery must be provided on the day of surgery.
If you have vision problems, you need to consult an ophthalmologist in advance and get a written report stating that you have no contraindications for rhinoplasty. If there are concomitant diseases, a consultation with a specialized doctor is required.

7. AFTER SURGERY
After surgery in the ward, cold will be applied to the eyelid area, which is replaced with a new one every 20-30 minutes to minimize bruising and swelling (5 times in total).
The patient stays in the clinic for one day and is discharged the next day.
Exactly one week after the surgery, you come in for a dressing change. It takes 5-10 minutes, after which you can go anywhere and by any means of transport.

Can I have a rhinoplasty if I wear braces?
Yes, you can. Braces do not interfere with the surgery.
Can I get a rhinoplasty during my period?
Yes, you can. Menstruation is not a contraindication for surgery.
