Dreaming of harmony and lightness in her facial features, a charming young woman approached me. Her main wish was to soften her profile by eliminating the visual heaviness created by the natural shape of her nose.
Initial Anatomical Features
Upon a detailed examination, I noticed a pronounced osteocartilaginous hump and a slightly droopy, insufficiently structured nasal tip. This acute nasolabial angle visually elongated the profile and gave the face a somewhat strict, tired appearance.
The patient’s skin turned out to be quite thick. This always poses a specific challenge for me: it is necessary to create a cartilaginous framework so elegant yet structurally sound that the new, refined lines can emerge beautifully and clearly through the tissues after they contract.
Surgical Course and Objectives
During the surgery, my main goal was not merely to reduce volume, but to find the ideal proportions that harmonize with her individual beauty.
- I performed meticulous work on profiling the nasal bridge, delicately eliminating the hump.
- Then, I performed a rotation of the tip, lifting it and establishing a proper, more open and feminine nasolabial angle.
- Delicate work was also carried out on the lower lateral cartilages to narrow and aesthetically structure the tip.
Result after 1 Month
The photographs present the result just one month after the surgery. Although the tissues are still undergoing early rehabilitation and a natural mild swelling is present, the aesthetic outcome is already perfectly visible.
The profile has become smooth, noble, and refined. The neat, lifted nasal tip has visually rejuvenated the face, making it look fresher, and the overall image softer and more harmonious. My patient is happy to see her new reflection in the mirror, and this sincere joy is the best confirmation that we have achieved the perfect result.
