A young woman visited the clinic with a desire to make her facial features more harmonious and refined, as well as to solve a problem that had been causing her discomfort for a long time.
Initial anatomical features
Upon detailed examination, I immediately noticed a number of initial anatomical features. First, the patient has rather thick, porous skin. For me, as a surgeon, this is always a certain professional challenge: thick skin tends to “conceal” the created relief, so to form a beautiful, elegant nasal tip, I needed to build a very strong and precise structural cartilaginous framework. Second, the initial footage clearly shows a wide, massive nasal tip and a slight hump on the bridge, which visually weighed down the profile and deprived the face of softness. Furthermore, upon examining the basal view, I diagnosed pronounced nostril asymmetry and a deviated nasal septum. This directly indicated the presence of functional impairments — the patient indeed experienced difficulties with full nasal breathing.
Course of the surgery
To comprehensively solve both aesthetic and medical tasks, I performed an open hybrid rhinoseptoplasty. My main goal was to achieve maximum naturalness by meticulously refining complex areas without disrupting the unique individuality of my patient’s face.
Result
Looking at the “After” result, I see exactly the harmony I strove for. I carefully lowered and straightened the nasal dorsum, creating a beautiful, straight, and noble profile. Thanks to painstaking work with the cartilaginous structures, I managed to significantly narrow, rotate (lift), and define the nasal tip — it now looks light and neat, perfectly harmonizing with the thick skin. I straightened the septum and achieved nostril symmetry, thereby fully restoring free nasal breathing. The young woman’s face has transformed, looking fresher, more open, and feminine, and most importantly — she is absolutely happy and satisfied with her new reflection in the mirror.
