Clinical case commentary:
Secondary rhinoplasty is always a higher level of anxiety and responsibility, as the patient has to trust the surgeon after an already existing unsuccessful experience.
BEFORE situation: In the baseline pre-operative images, we see a typical picture requiring secondary intervention: disrupted symmetry, uneven bridge, and aesthetic imperfection of the nose shape.
AFTER result: A complex secondary piezorhinoseptoplasty was performed. And now, just 7 days after the surgery, we are evaluating the first results. Despite the fact that a pronounced postoperative swelling still persists on the face (which is absolutely normal for the first week), a neat, straight, and harmonious profile is already visible.
But the most important thing in this video is not just the technical result, but the incredible emotions of the young woman. The patient is shy, smiles, and simply glows with joy looking at her new reflection. As aptly noted at the end of the video: the eyes are mom’s, but the new elegant nose is from Gevorg Yuryevich!
