Charitable Rhinoplasty: 7 Days Post-Op

For me, as a plastic surgeon, there is nothing more valuable than seeing the sincere emotions of happiness and amazement on my patients’ faces.

In this video, we captured an incredibly touching moment. As part of our initiative, I performed a charitable surgery for this wonderful young lady, and today we removed the cast for the first time.

Analysis of the Initial Situation and the Work Done:
  • BEFORE: The patient had a prominent hump and a slightly droopy, bulky nasal tip, which visually weighed down her profile and drew attention away from her beautiful eyes.
  • AFTER: I performed a comprehensive procedure and shaped a graceful, straight profile. I lifted and refined the nasal tip, making it neater so that it perfectly harmonizes with her delicate facial features.

Only 7 days have passed since the surgery. Even though postoperative swelling is still present (which is absolutely normal for this stage), the result is already beautifully visible. The young lady’s reaction speaks for itself: she covers her mouth with her hand in pleasant shock, smiles broadly, and cannot take her eyes off the mirror, unable to believe she has become such a beauty!

We also checked the functionality — she takes a deep breath, confirming that free nasal breathing is fully restored. The rehabilitation period is still ahead, but the most exciting part is already behind.

It is for the sake of such sincere smiles that I work!

“The eyes are my mother’s, but the nose is from Gevorg Yuryevich!”
