What could be more valuable for a surgeon than seeing the happy faces of their patients not only immediately after removing the cast, but also years later? This video is a clear example of how properly performed rhinoplasty harmoniously blends into a person’s life for decades.
What did the patient present with prior to surgery?
Initially, a young woman approached me with a classic request. In the “before” footage, it is clearly visible that the nose was quite large: there was a pronounced hump, and a somewhat heavy, slightly drooping tip. Because of these features, her profile appeared harsher, and the focus of attention shifted away from her beautiful, expressive eyes to the central part of her face.
What I did:
I analyzed the proportions of the patient’s face and performed a detailed rhinoplasty. I removed the hump, leveled and narrowed the dorsum, and lifted and shaped a neat, elegant nasal tip. My main goal was not simply to make the nose smaller, but to create a natural and soft profile that would perfectly suit this particular young woman.
10 years later
The second part of the video is my absolute pride. A full 10 years have passed! My patient has become a wonderful mother. She glows with confidence, looking incredibly gentle and happy. The nose has maintained its perfect shape, hasn’t deformed over the years, and looks as if she was born with it.
Looking at her and her adorable baby, one just wants to say: “She has her mother’s eyes, but her nose is from Gevorg Yuryevich!” 😉
